Pathology in the Hundred Acre Wood I was going throuh my Abnormal Child Psych text book studying and doing my assignments when I chanced upon this DSM-IV diagnosis of the Hundred Acre Wood characters. Never before have I perceived any cartoon characters in this way. So here it is: The Pathology in Hundred Acre Wood Winnie-the-Pooh ADHD (inactive sub-type) OCD (provisional diagnosis) Boderlin Intellectual functioning (very little brain) Medical Disorder: Poor diet, obesity, binge eating, Piglet Generalized anxiety disorder Medical Disorder: Failure to thrive (no wonder he is so small, hahaha) Eeyor Disthymic disorder Medical condition: Traumatic amputation of tail Psychosocial problem : Housing problems Rabbit Personality Disorder: Narcissistic personality Tigger ADHD hyperactivity-impulsivity subtype Owl Reading Disorder Psychosocial problems : Housing Problem Kanga Psychosocial Problems : Single parent, unemployed, overprotective of child Roo Psychosocial Problems: Single parenthood, undesireable peer group, victim of unusual feeding practices (he eat extract of malt) Christopher Robin Gender identity disorder (provisional diagnosis) Psychosocial Problems: Lack of parental supervision, possible educational problems Try diagnosing other cartoon characters, I am sure you will have a good laugh too.
